NEW was invited to the Association of Women’s Business Center’s 2022 Annual Leadership Conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Ruth Garcia-Corrales, Director of NEW Women’s Business Center and Board Member for the Association of Women’s Business Center networked with small business policy influencers like SBA Administrator Isabel Guzman, Secretary Manuel Cidre Miranda from Departamento de Desarrollo Económico y Comercio de Puerto Rico, and other esteemed business leaders and global corporations to engage in discussions to support and advocate for underserved women and women of color small business owners in their local communities.
