Marcella Gardens is a new construction project consisting of a four-story structure above a 1-story parking structure. Project designed to include 29 studio apts., 30 one-bedroom and 1 two-bedroom Manager’s unit.

The project is designed to include community spaces, management spaces, supportive services offices and 98 parking spaces.

The target population: 50% of units will be targeted to Transitional Aged Youth (TAY), 25% to Homeless Adults and 25% to targeted Veterans. 50% of the total units will be targeted to Chronically Homeless.

Ruth Teague Apartments

6706 S. Main Street

Ruth Teaque is a new construction project consisting of a three-story above one-story parking.

The project will include 39 two-bedroom and 13 three-bedroom units with 69 parking spaces. The site will include case management offices, outdoor open spaces, barbecue areas, and a lap pool with an adjacent community room. The ground floor will incorporate an enclosed bicycle parking with 50 bike stalls.

The target population consists of 50% low-income families, 25% targeted Transitional Aged Youth, and 25% Veteran families. 50% of the units will target the Chronically Homeless.

Parque Vista Apartments

2581 E. Chaucer Street

This development is the last of the Taylor Yard Village Master Plan. It will consist of 5, three-story buildings with 42 units and a common stairwell to access the second and third-floor units. Off-street surface parking will be provided for residents only. There will be an on-site community room for recreation, services and provide resident events.

Each unit will include an energy-efficient washer & dryer, refrigerator, electric range/hood, and dishwasher. In addition, each unit will have central air conditioning and heating. Other amenities include vertical blinds, vinyl plank flooring, and carpet.

Prosperity Center is a 24,000 three-story commercial building in Pico-Union, Los Angeles, and the site of three nonprofits working in tandem to improve the livelihood of our client families through a unique and innovatory partnership. NEW acquired and rehabilitated the dilapidated building in 2000 and it has served as a community site since 2003.
