Despite the record cold and rain, our 2023 Food Expo was packed with engaged audiences eager to learn more about how to start, grow and expand their cottage, catering, food truck, and restaurant businesses. With special guests from the U.S. Small Business Department Julie Clowes, Los Angeles Director and Ken Crawford, Economic Development Specialist, NEW-WBC Director Ruth Garcia-Corrales and NEW Community Investments President Quentin Strode kicked-off the star-studded TED Talk style event with our esteemed financial partners, business partners, and of course, the African American, Latina and other minority women entrepreneur bakers, chefs and caterers who brought with them tasty treats and yummy hors-d’oeuvres for all of us to enjoy!
