From Bea to You

Beatriz Olvera Stotzer - NEW Board PresidentSpeaking in Washington, D.C. at the Women of Color and Wealth Symposium, on behalf of New Economics for Women (NEW), was an honor and a wonderful opportunity to talk about the work we are doing every day.

Neighborhood Stabilization

NEW is part of a national consortium of non-profit affordable housing developers called the National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB). The consortium submitted an application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). The purpose of the NSP is to stabilize neighborhoods damaged by the economic effects of foreclosed upon, abandoned, blighted and vacant properties.
